Morocco is often referred to as ‘Maghrib - the land of the setting sun… the end of the world’, however, after organising my very first retreat there 8 years ago, it was an exciting new beginning for me (although I didn’t know it at the time!). I will never forget how I felt when I first arrived at Marrakech Menara Airport accompanied by a yoga teacher and 16 excitable ladies, I was captivated from the moment I arrived, how could somewhere so exotic (in my opinion) be such a short flight from the UK and so much warmer too.
