About This Retreat:

The objective of this Retreat is to enable you to hit pause on life as we know it for a few days, in a wonderfully slow-paced environment, enabling you to make some headspace to review where you’re at in life right now and have some quiet time to think about what’s next, in a proactive, rather than a reactive way.  This Retreat is also very much about having fun, learning something new, either about yourself or India, trying something new, maybe paddle boarding; yoga; an Ayurvedic massage or giving meditation a go and maybe even learning how to cook your own authentic Goan dish to show off to family and friends when you return home.

Why Goa?

I appreciate it’s a long way to go, however, as we'll be in the depths of our UK winter in January, I really do believe it will be an amazing adventure.  Patnem in Southern Goa, is known for its deserted beaches, crystal clear waters, relaxing yoga retreats and so much more.  During this Retreat, you can enjoy a daily yoga session in an oceanfront yoga shala (all levels welcome) while listening to the waves; eat deliciously healthy local food; take a sunrise boat trip in search of dolphins; enjoy an authentic Goan cooking class; join an evening barefoot walk to capture that wall-worthy sunset shot; enjoy live music and sundowners at a local beach shack; take stock of where we're at in our lives through a couple of mini wellness workshops; indulge in a treatment or two and ‘Review & Renew’ our positive intentions for 2019.... oh and there's time built in to relax; sunbathe and shop too!

“The value I gained from going on Ruth’s Gin & Yin Retreat cannot be explained in terms of money, but only in terms of adding value to my life journey and I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to come along – I hope this will be the first of many!”

Bethan Hogg – Cheshire (Sanctuary for the Soul Retreat, Marbella - Sept 2018)
