Spring & Tonic

Hello hello, I hope this newsletter finds you happy and well. Did you know there’s an actual ‘Spring Cleaning Week’ and a ‘National Spring Cleaning Day’ both in March? Who knew? There are websites full of tips and tricks to get your ‘surfaces squeaky clean and your house shipshape’ along with various organisations working with volunteers to clean up our villages and towns – bravo if you're involved in one of those. Whilst I’ve missed all significant 'cleaning' dates (shame .. maybe?) I have started to sort a few things out on the home front, let’s be clear though, it's far from shipshape but I have located the oars and packed the tonics!

If you follow me on my socials (thanking you very much), you will know that I have ‘spring cleaned’ my website this month, which has been a bit of a learning curve - it will be 4 years this June since I launched Gin & Yin, so it was time for a bit of a refresh , I really hope you like it – there’s more to be done still, but isn’t there always x

So, as we come to the end of another month, I wanted to share some lovely

'tried and tested' things to help you rise and smile this week:

Try: 30 min Spring Equinox Blossoming Yoga Flow 35 mins – Yoga with Kassandra - https://youtu.be/viuquQx1juI

Listen: Mellow Spring Acoustic Tracks – Spotify Playlist - https://spoti.fi/3uGYPKq

(Susie's Fino Olive Oil is fantastic too) - https://bit.ly/3x0swsH

Tarquins Blood Orange Gin – Cornish sunshine in a glass perfect for Spring sipping https://shop.tarquinsgin.com/products/tarquins-cornish-sunshine-blood-orange-gin

What's Been Happening at Gin & Yin HQ

This month we had a wonderful evening with Nicola, founder of Willow and Finn over in Shepperton, where we experimented with scents to create our very own hand poured soy wax candle, as well as trying 2 delicious local gins, huge thanks to Bone Idyll @bone-idyll and to Hampton Court Gin's Six Wives Gin @hamptoncourtgin the ladies loved them both - what a treat for all our senses - I'm so pleased with my candle too, I went for a blend of vetiver, lime and citrus mix and it is really gorgeous - excellent quality. Nicola has also just opened a 'Candle Bar' too - check it out here:
