Wowee, ‘Gin & Yin Retreats’ is now a whole month old toot-toot!  Thank you so much for signing up for my newsletters, I’ll do my best to keep them short and sweet and share only the best nuggets with you about my forthcoming retreats, new events and anything else worth tooting about.  Oh and I promise I'll only send one a month as I know what my own inbox looks like!

This month, I want to celebrate that I have 10 lovely ladies coming on my 'Shanti Som Retreat' in Marbella 20th - 23rd September - this would have meant my first retreat was 'SOLD OUT' however, in all the excitement I got carried away and booked 2 more rooms!  Yikes - so if you know anyone who would benefit from a post summer holiday recharge over a long weekend, I would be very grateful if you can let them know I have just the tonic for them!  I'd just require a deposit of £150 to hold the space. https://www.ginandyinretreats.com/events/sanctuary-for-the-soul-retreat-shanti-som-marbella

Speaking from personal experience, I can’t stress enough how important it is to ‘hit the pause button’ now and again and diarise some 'me' time, particularly when you put so much effort in to keeping everyone else happy and all the plates spinning.  Just a few days away enables you to take stock of where you’re at, remind yourself that you have your own interests, take a moment to check where you’re heading and most importantly, do something you enjoy or maybe try something new and meet new people.   On my kind of retreats, you can dip in and out of whatever you like the sound of most, there’s no pressure whatsoever to do everything and that’s what makes my retreats a little different.

So whether you’re seeking a quiet space to write, read or just be, or would like to improve on your yoga, or love the idea of connecting with like minded ladies in beautiful surroundings, then welcome to ‘my kind of retreat’ – the kind of retreat that enables you to step out of the day to day and reconnect with yourself, returning to the real world with a little more energy and perhaps a little more clarity for what’s next in your life.  Come along with a friend, or your sister or maybe your mum - consider it part of your wellness plan.

A locally sourced welcome ‘Gin & Yin’ Tonic (Gin is plant-based after all, so all good); wonderfully healthy and nutritious plant based food (of course); a talk on ‘How to introduce healthy plant-based foods into day to day life’; tried and tested recipes and a ‘goodie bag with a purpose’ to take away.

I love the idea of introducing more creative ‘plant-based’ meals into family life, but I don't know where to start and is it fuss-free? If like me you’d like to learn more about plant-based meals and would like to give some recipes a go, it would be lovely to have you with us.
