Hellooooha and thanks for opening my August newsletter. I've just returned from an incredible family adventure around British Columbia, in the month of 'Fogust' (so called by the locals.. hmm). Despite the fog, it was possibly the most varied and active holiday I've ever been on. I also managed to squeeze in a yoga class on the beach (yes that's the Pacific Ocean just behind the wall of fog!) and just look at that wonky tree pose, the teacher asked me to breathe in which made me laugh, as I'd eaten for Vancouver while I was over there and I was most certainly already breathing in before she took the photo! It was a marvellous way to end my holiday though - yoga really is for everyone, can be done pretty much everywhere and can also be fun, if you don't take yourself too seriously that is... which as you can see.... I don't.
I hope you've all had wonderful summer holidays with your families and friends too and have had your own mini adventures and stocked up your memory banks with silly moments and laughter.

A delicious welcome Sherlock & Sons 'Gin & Tonic' with thanks to 'Distillers of Surrey' - recently launched by head distiller Simon Sherlock producing Spirits of Distinction in Ripley, Surrey, followed by some wonderfully healthy and nutritious plant based food (of course) along with a talk on ‘How to introduce healthy plant-based foods into day to day life’.
I personally love the idea of introducing more interesting and varied ‘plant-based’ meals into family life, but I don't quite know where to start and it needs to be relatively fuss free, so if like me you’d like to learn more about plant-based meals, then join us.
